EdCuration is a two-sided curriculum marketplace that simplifies the way instructional leaders search, find, evaluate and select instructional resources to get better learning materials into schools faster to increase student success.

 

TRACTION:

Raised $260,000 to build, launch and being marketing and selling solution.  Current ARR: $27K, 4 months since launch.

BUSINESS MODEL:

Curriculum vendors pay an annual, upfront subscription fee to host their products on EdCuration and to receive additional marketing support such as email product promotions and podcast episode publications.

MARKET:

$20B+ opportunity. Over the last years it has been projected that PreK-12 instructional industry has spend $10.4B in Non-Digital Curriculum and $11.8B in Digital Curriculum.

 

Currently raising:

an angel round of financing in 2020 (raising $500K for a $3M pre-money valuation), and we anticipate an Angel B round in late 2021, early 2022 of $500K

Over the last 12 months, we saw a 22.73% increase in user traffic with over 90% traffic coming from new users. Our direct revenue from paying users increased by 198.38%. Overall 5,444 new users signed up directly in 2019, and over 3,000 new users through our reseller partners.

BUSINESS MODEL:

Learning XYZ focuses on a SAAS platform selling directly to consumers for a monthly subscription. The company partners with key distributors to resell the platform.

MARKET:

E-Learning market is projected to grow to $200B annually by 2024. 50% of the world’s population is connected to the internet with 69% of consumer internet being delivered through video.

TRACTION

Skilled has secured over $850K in new revenue for 2020. Projecting $2MM in ARR this year while also doubling the size of our customer base over the last 6 months.

MARKET:

Only 17% of students are satisfied with the career services provided by their school. With a 98.7% satisfaction rate Skilled plans to augment and replace the 12,000 career centers in the US and over 25,000 career centers globally.

Skilled sells augmented career services to universities and bootcamps for a cost ranging between $10,000 - $1,000,000 annually.

SymTrain was created to solve a real employee performance problem our CEO faced scaling his prior company and realized training was not preparing new hires to actually perform their job.  People learn and retain 90% of what they do, but only 20% of what they hear so SymTrain’s software and AI automates the repetition, feedback, and reinforcement required to learn skills and build confidence faster and cheaper than ever before.

 

TRACTION:

219k since launch in 2018 and on pace for 600K this year with customers like Citibank, Allstate, Nautica, and Baptist Health.

BUSINESS MODEL:

SymTrain’s value-based pricing model allows companies to quickly implement SymTraining and continue usage based on consumption so they pay ONLY for what they need and the performance they achieve.

MARKET:

$70BB e-learning and simulation projected to grow to $300BB in the next 3-5 years.

Tanoshi develops special software and hardware products for kids ages 6-12, that allow every child to learn 21st Century computer skills needed for the future workforce. Our unique UX products are education, age appropriate, fun and affordable. We are closing the tech learning gap in America and around the world.

 

TRACTION:

Have sold over 5k Tanoshi 2-in-1 computer for kids and have generated over $1M in sales over the last 12 months.

BUSINESS MODEL:

Currently sell through Amazon, Walmart, etc. and direct through TanoshiKidsComputers.com

MARKET:

Prior to Covid 19 the TAM for annual sales of computers and tablets to kids ages 6-12 we estimated to be around $21 billion.  We believe with this new world and a huge overnight increase in demand for digital learning at home and school, that the TAM has likely doubled, maybe more!

 

Will soon be raising a $2M seed round
and collecting interest from investors.

Vroggo’s platform connects students in immersive virtual learning experiences where they can work and learn together from anywhere – and teachers can lead the learning in real-time.

 

TRACTION:

In less than a year we progressed from a 3,000-student pilot to full product launch to customers and revenue. We now have leading districts like Jericho using Vroggo in science class.

BUSINESS MODEL:

We charge an annual per-student subscription fee plus a one-time fee for installation and training. In addition to Vroggo content, we host partners content and apps on our platform.

MARKET:

Our initial market is US middle schools with future market expansions planned.
