Engaging Great EdTech Mentors

Identifying, reaching out, and establishing two-way relationships with great mentors is tough, but we can get better with practice.

It's no longer just about "who you know", it's about how you can get who you know to solve problems for you most efficiently and effectively.

In this session, Ash Kaluarachchi will discuss the basics as follows:

• how to do your homework on mentors

• how to manage a 30 min meeting with mentors

• how to follow up and build a relationship with a core group of mentors efficiently and effectively

About the Speaker:
Ash Kaluarachchi advises and makes connections for organizations solving problems in education and the workforce. He has advised, launched, and operated multiple EdTech accelerators, including for Techstars. To date, these accelerators have enabled more than 1000+ companies in partnership with organizations such as Kaplan, Intel, NYU, and the University of Pennsylvania. He continues to provide support for founders solving problems for educators, administrators, and learners in Pre-K, K-12, HigherEd, Future of Work, and Adult Learning as Cofounder at StartEd and Producer of EDTECH WEEK.
