About the Speakers:
Kimberly Smith is a results-oriented education executive and visionary with extensive experience in leading successful for- and non-profit programs, businesses, and services. Exceptional breadth of leadership experience in strategic planning, program management, innovative learning models, research and analysis, business and partnership development and product strategy. Focused, innovative, and dynamic. Keen ability to conceive and execute high-impact education strategies and solutions, with concentration on addressing education equity issues.
Ash Kaluarachchi advises and makes connections for organizations solving problems in education and workforce. He has advised, launched and operated multiple EdTech accelerators, including for Techstars.
To date, these accelerators have enabled more than 1000+ companies in partnership with organizations such as Kaplan, Intel, NYU and the University of Pennsylvania.
He continues to provide support for founders solving problems for educators, administrators and learners in Pre-K, K-12, HigherEd, Future of Work and Adult Learning as Cofounder at StartEd and Producer of EDTECH WEEK.
